Responsible Drinking and Community Affairs |
ResponsibilityBeer wholesalers and brewers are deeply involved in the communities in which they live and do business. The industry has spent more than $250 million over the last 10 years to fund research, public safety, education, and prevention campaigns to curb alcohol abuse. The nation's largest brewers are involved in a range of activities to raise awareness. Examples include Miller Brewing Company's "Live Responsibly" campaign, Heineken USA's "SafeCall" program and Coors Brewing Company's "21 Means 21" campaign. In partnership with our suppliers, we have made a commitment to promote responsible behavior, encourage the safe consumption of our products and fight illegal underage drinking at community events and in our day-to-day operations. Working together, we can all be a part of the solution. Community AffairsLiquid Investments strongly believes in giving back to the community. We maintain strong commitments to numerous local organizations and charities in each of our distributorship territories. We participate in local special events, which offer opportunities for on- and off-premise retail extensions, customized point of sale signage, event sampling and retailer hospitality.
